Basketball player Daniel Theis has celebrated with the Boston Celtics in the North American NBA an away win. The Massachusetts team beat the Chicago Bulls 105-89 (55-29).
The 25-year-old Theis scored four points and brought six rebounds in the game. Boston’s Jaylen Brown was the most successful point collector in the away win of his team with 21 points. Celtics star Kyrie Irving was unavailable to his team due to knee problems.
The hosts convinced Denzel Valentine with 20 points. National player Paul Zipser missed his fifth game in a row because of a foot injury.
The Celtics are in second place in the Eastern Conference with 45 wins and 20 losses. With 21 wins and 42 defeats, Chicago is fourth last in the East.
Surprises in the west are missing
In the Western Conference, the Portland Trail Blazers nearly stumbled over the Los Angeles Lakers. But in the end, coach Luke Walton’s team narrowly won 108: 103 (58:55). With a proud 39 points Damian Lillard was the best thrower of the table third.
In the duel between the San Antonio Spurs and the tail end of the Western Conference Memphis Grizzlies, it was almost a surprise. The hosts from San Antonio finally put up very thinly with 100: 98 (57:55).
“In the last quarter, our defense has played a little better,” said Spurs coach Brad Stevens. “But still, we made life difficult for ourselves today.”
